She's worn many [hard]hats - having been an estimator, project manager, then pivoting to BIM Integration, where she grew to lead as VDC Director. Today, Alexis serves as Suffolk's Director of Business Development. An impressive career for anyone, and even more extraordinary given recent statistics reported by The Construction Dive, showing women still make up only about 10% of the construction workforce – from field to office. So, perhaps it is no coincidence that she has landed her career where their tagline is: Prove impossible wrong.
