This is an extremely powerful tool.  This could be used on a regular basis for subs who aren't performing.

Proactive was recently tasked with providing multifaceted assistance on an apartment complex project, where the wood framing subcontractor defaulted.

 

The project consisted of two, four-story apartment buildings, both with wood frame structures. After the default occurred, Proactive was hired to help facilitate the recovery process.

 

To do so, Proactive provided second-set-of-eyes (SSOE) schedule reviews and 2D look ahead graphics.  Through the SSOE schedule review process, Proactive determined that the schedules did not include activities, or the necessary logic, to capture any  deficiency or corrective work being performed on site.

 

The contractor’s Corporate Scheduler used the 2D look ahead graphics as a communication tool to encourage the project team to follow through with recommendations provided by Proactive.  Proactive also provided Neutral Delay Analysis services.

 

Proactive’s services were so well received by the project team, the Senior Project Manager stated, “I’m very impressed with the process. You guys are very thorough.”

Keith has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry providing innovative solutions in project controls, scheduling, claims and BIM. He is responsible for overseeing Proactive's project control assignments and ensuring project solutions are tailored to each of our clients' needs

 

The industry is not very collaborative, and often litigious. Our most 'innovative' service is our collaborative approach to claims resolution
